Wayzim's Green Design Concepts Gain International Recognition
With the 28MW Photovoltaic Project Cutting Annual Carbon Emissions by over 30,000 Tons
Recently, a delegation from the World Green Design Organization (WGDO) visited the Wayzim Nanling Manufacturing Center in Anhui province, where they witnessed and learned about the green design concepts and construction achievements of the Nanling factory.
Wayzim officially joined the WGDO in June 2026, and this on-site exchange marks a further deepening of cooperation between the two sides in the fields of green manufacturing and sustainable development.
WGDO is a non-profit international organization dedicated to promoting the development of green design. In this visit, members of WGDO's key delegation went to the Wayzim Nanling Manufacturing Center.
Representatives from Wayzim provided a detailed introduction to Jiao Yang, Assistant Director-General of the WGDO, and Wu Wenjing, Director of the WGDO Beijing Representative Office, along with their delegation, on the factory's systematic practices in green design, mainly covering the following aspects.
01 Green power: A 28MW distributed photovoltaic project has been constructed on the factory rooftops, and the green electricity generated by the project fully covers the power consumption for production and manufacturing, achieving self-sufficiency in green power for operations.
02 Green buildings: The factory uses a high-standard steel structure to maximize natural lighting through transparent glass structures, and eliminate the need for artificial lighting during daytime production, achieving energy conservation and carbon emission reduction at the architectural level.
03 Green manufacturing: The production workshops use high-efficiency and energy-saving production processes and equipment to optimize energy utilization efficiency.
04 Green management: Wayzim has established and improved the energy management and environmental management systems to promote standardized and institutionalized green manufacturing operations.
At a meeting after the visit, Wayzim further shared the green design concepts, construction achievements, and production processes of the Nanling factory, and comprehensively showed WGDO Wayzim's systematic implementation of sustainable development concepts throughout the entire process of product R&D, manufacturing, and operations management. WGDO expressed full recognition and high praise for Wayzim's achievements in green design practices.

The 28.06MW distributed photovoltaic project at Wayzim's Nanling factory was first commissioned in November 2024 and reached its full capacity in January 2025.
In the first year, the actual green power generated by the project reached 32.5 million kWh, saved 10,660 tons of standard coal annually, and reduced carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 32,403 tons, which is equivalent to planting 3.45 million trees.

Over its 25-year full life cycle, the project is expected to produce 758 million kWh of green electricity, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 756,100 tons, reduce sulfur dioxide emissions by approximately 22,750 tons, and reduce soot and smoke dust emissions by approximately 206,300 tons, which is equivalent to planting 80.38 million trees.
Summary
The two sides also engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics including green industrial design, intelligent manufacturing, and corporate ESG development.
Wayzim's representatives stated that Wayzim will continue to deepen the application of green design concepts throughout the entire product lifecycle, promote the deep integration of intelligent manufacturing and low-carbon development, and contribute to the green transformation of the whole industry.
