The individual carrier system (ICS) is a high-speed baggage conveying system using pallets as carriers. It consists of pallets, baggage loaders, pallet conveyors, diverters/merge units, transfer sorters, tippers, stackers/destackers, and control units. The ICS integrates baggage conveying and sorting, features high conveying speed, high fault tolerance, and energy saving, and is suitable for single terminals or terminal clusters.
